This is how the legend of McDonald’s CBO came to be.

The CBO was going to be McDonald’s chicken-based Big Mac – a rival to the truly iconic legend.

So, we created a legend around this new sandwich. Created by the gods, loved by kings and queens throughout history, brought to Canada and finally crowned surrounded by celebrating and adoring fans. These were the chapters in our animated video that helped launch this new legend.

Then, unfortunately, Canadians didn’t love the combination of chicken, bacon and onion and McDonald’s took it off their menu. The final chapter should never be the saddest.
